Elina - Almost 5 months!

I love this age! She is cute and cuddly and smiley and cant talk back or throw tantrums or tell her Mama and Daddy "No." She is now rolling over and does tummy time quite well. She lifts her

e

head all the way up! She loves eating her feet as well. Her favorite is her bouncy chair. That girl will spend hours in her bouncy chair if we let her. She also is very vocal. She is talking all the time. Luke grunted and was a very strategic talker. She is completley different. Rich said that she takes after me for that part.

Also, she started daycare! I could not stand it on the first day. I had to make Rich take her in. She did great of course and Anna (Sam and Jessica's litte girl) goes there too, but the first day was rough. I thought it was supposed to be easier with the second child, but apparantely not. However, it now has become a routine and we really love Gladis!

Things she loves: eating; her big brother - she is enthralled by him and smiles and laughs at him constantly even though he is so rough with her.; her bouncy chair; her tummy time pillow; pre mixed forumla only - she is a gourmet apparantley; she loves this song that Ajji sings to he (Ba ba chite) - come come butterfly in English. Rich and Luke sing her the English version of it. She thinks it is hysterical.

Poor thing is teething now so she is constantly chewing on her bottom lip and drooling. I do not miss this stage. She handles it well though I must say. She gets moody sometimes but she perks up if you distract her. She is also in the process of starting solid foods. We have not really introduced them full force as we had about of the stomach virus and then a cold go through so we wanted her to be well before we started it.

We call her Elina Bellina Bugs as her nickname. So now we have a Lukie Pookie Bear and an Elina Bellina Bugs. Luke loves to call her that too.
