As most of you already know, Luke arrived two weeks early! I guess he was as in a rush to get out into this world as we were to meet him. So far his first week has been what two new parents can expect. A lot of feedings, diaper changes, sleeping (on his part), lack of sleep (on our part), lots of picture taking, and moments where we feel like we have no idea what we are doing. We just got home on Monday after being two days at the hospital. My water broke on Saturday morning and he was born about 12 hours later. Since getting home, I can tell you that our days and nights are running all into one.
We wanted to thank you all for all your kind wishes and phone calls. We would love to see everyone and I know Luke would love to meet everyone in a few weeks once we all get settled in. On the whole he is doing really well. He had his first pedatrician's appointment today, and he seems to be progressing very well. It also happened to be his first snow storm. He is a good eater and loves to chew on his hands for some reason. He has a full head of hair and some say looks exactly like Rich. We have put some more pictures down below. You all can judge for yourselves!
