Our little man is a riot. He makes me laugh everyday. I cannot even believe the things that he says or observes nowadays. The other day, he was walking funny, and I asked if he was okay. His response - "I am fine Mama. My leg just fell asleep." He may have heard Rich or I say that, but how he equated the feeling in his leg to that phrase is beyond me. He also knows to count to ten in Spanish. He started doing it right before bedtime and I was shocked. I had no idea he knew how to do that.
He also is so observant. He saw a picture the other day - in the picture was Tata, Ajji, me, Rich, Elina and himself. He looked a the picture very thoughtfully and asked me, "Mama, who took the picture?" I was shocked that he understood that since all of us were in the picture, that someone else was taking it.
Unforutnatley, the other day, he got nipped by Toby, my parents dog. The poor kid tripped over Toby who is always underfoot and got bit. Luckily, the physical damage was slight, but poor Luke does not like Toby anymore. He made me take down all the pictures of Toby at our house and told everyone at school what happened. The new rule is that the dog has to be in the cage at all times when Luke and Elina are in the same house with him. Fortunately, so far, he does not seem to be scared by other dogs or anything so let's keep our fingers crossed.
