His friends, the chicken and the bee came over for some Halloween fun. Actually their real names are Colin and Layla. Our next door neighbors Tim and Karen brought over Colin and our friends Neha and Aaron brought over Luke's girlfriend Layla over. We made it to about 5-6 houses and then called it a night. The kids got cranky with their oversized costumes and we figured that we would eat the candy if we had it.

We definitely had some adventures while trick or treating. First, we got the fright of our lives...we encountered these two kids with "scream" costumes, with blood dripping down their masks. It was very disturbing actually. I have serious concerns that their parents let them dress that way. After we recovered, we came across some happier times at another house where there was another chicken and monkey! Unfortunately there was no bee, but two out of three aint bad. Another woman actually called us out on the fact that the candy was for us and not the kids, so we thought it would be cool it a little.
All in all, it was a very successful night. Both the adults and children had a great time. The only downfall was the leftover Halloween candy that we were resisting. Rich ate all the peanut M&M's, so we didnt have to worry about those anymore, and the rest were taken to Rich's work. Thank goodness.

luke has a hearty laugh for the first time in a photo, seems to enjoy halloween
