What a great time we had at the TL this year. It was nice that our friend Christie was preggo as well so we could just drool over everyone else drinking their cool summer alcoholic beverages. Our friend Jess drank enough for the girls though :).
The kids had an amazing time as well. It seems that the brood keeps growing! We had Luke of course who was also joined this time by baby Anna (9 mo old). Last time, baby Anna was in utero! Next 4th, we will have Luke, Anna, Luke's little sister and Christie and Jonathan's baby! Crazy how we are multiplying. I feel bad for Luke as it will be three girls and him. I am sure he will have his golf to keep him occupied.
The drive up to the TL was so fun too. We drove up with the Statz clan (Sam, Jess, Anna), in their MDX which seats 7. The two older "kids" (Sam and Rich) were buckled in way in the back which was a good thing because they decided that Budweiser would be beer of choice on the ride up. Luke watched a movie on his way up there - Cars - his absolute favorite, and had poor Sam fast forward every scene. Little Anna was an Angel and slept the entire ride!
While we were there, we also had Chrisite and Jonathan's baby shower at a winery. Not a very usual place for a baby shower I know, but lovely scenery, food and beverages nonetheless. The boys also visited their favorite golf course for the day and we girls took in the local wine bar. Hopefully next year we will be able to amply sample the full array of their stock as we were quite limited this year. Ajji and Tata were great hosts of course and my dad even participated in a rousing game of beer pong along with my uncle Seena.
Cant wait for next year!
